Day 1: Arrive at Johannesburg. Transfer to Country Club. Orientation over cocktails and finger supper.
Day 2: Morning tour to Soweto. Afternoon bowls game and sociable snack supper.
Day 3: Tour of Voortrekker Monument Pretoria, afternoon and night Lesedi Village. Cultural tales, food and home brew.
Day 4: Early start for the Kruger Park and rustic Skukuza Camp game spotting all the way. Relaxing meal in “Selati Train” Afternoon safari drive, and sociable supper at the lodge.
Day 5: Early safari drive, followed by hearty breakfast, relaxing around the pool and more game spotting before dinner.
Day 6: Game viewing in own vehicle, final KNP restaurant dinner.
Day 7: Drakensberg beckons – bowls, pony trekking, San rock art and wild trout fishing, in the most magnificent World heritage Site.
Day 8: Take advantage of preferred options above
Day 9: Transfer to Wartburg, interrupted by a game against Pietermaritzburg bowls club, and finished off with a festive ranch barbeque.
Day10: Spend morning viewing local garden and cane-farms. Afternoon bowls mach vs Wartburg club with supper
Day11: Scenic drive to Durban to gracious Goble Palms Lodge. Exotic dinner at Authentic Eastern Restaurant.
Day12: Today we do our housekeeping and visit the beachfront. (curio opportunity) followed by bowls game and supper.
Day13: Civilised start for Cape Town and the luxurious Alphen Hotel and wine country. Evening walkabout in classic Constantia.
Day14: Kirstenbosh Gardens and wine estate or Table Mountain tour (weather permitting) and late afternoon game, Newlands.
Day15: Peninsular tour, including chat with penguins. Supper at hotel
Day16: Morning bowls game and shopping experience at V&A Waterfront, with farewell dinner.
Day17: Tearful departure from Cape Town International for Home.
